The cottage is part of an old property on which there were 9 windmills. There is only one left that was used as a house to live.
The house and its gîte have been completely renovated.
Thus, the 104 m² gîte offers:
- an independent entrance that will allow you to move around as you see fit
- parking spaces in a dead end to park your car safely next to the cottage
- a beautiful living room (equipped kitchen / living room / dining room)
- 3 bedrooms each with (2 double beds and 2 single beds)
- a private garden allowing you to enjoy beautiful evenings.

Situation:
In the heart of the city of Blaye (33390) and 3 minutes from the Blaye-Lamarque ferry (allowing to cross the Gironde estuary towards the Médoc), the cottage is ideally located between Bordeaux (45min) and Royan (1h15) .
The Blayais CNPE is accessible in 15-20 min from the gîte.

What to do around:
800m from the city center, you can visit the Citadel of Vauban (UNESCO classified), go to the market on Wednesday and Saturday morning or go to the various shops and restaurants.
You can also go to the Blayais wine châteaux to discover their wine and why not continue your discovery tour by crossing the estuary to go to the Médoc to visit the châteaux and taste their wines or in Lacanau to enjoy the ocean.
Finally, to rest and relax, do not hesitate to go to Jonzac (40 min) for a Thalasso.
