The Ferienhaus is a great base for hiking and cross-country skiing in the Wetterstein and Karwendel Mountains. There are also many bathing lakes which can be reached on foot or by bicycle.
Klais Train Station is just a 5-minute walk from the Ferienhaus am Römerweg. Mittenwald, Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the Austrian border can all be reached within 20 minutes by car.
