FROM PARIS (550 km – 5h)
• Pass the St Arnoult toll & take A10 towards Orléans
• In Orléans, large black Deret hangars visible on the right, close to the right, A71 ramp close & Brief. Then direction Clermont-Ferrand.
• In Vierzon Nord, exit the A71 & get on the A20 towards Toulouse
• No tolls until Brive, Between Brive and Souillac last small toll at Gignac & after Blazy railway viaduct on the right & before exit 55 at Souillac.

FROM MONTPELLIER (450 km – 4h30)
• Motorway direction Perpignan - Barcelona
• Then to Narbonne Direction Toulouse & Bordeaux, to Toulouse
• On the Toulouse ring road follow Bordeaux.
• Or schoolchildren's path via Millau, Rodez, Figeac, Rocamadour, Souillac
At the traffic light in Souillac turn left towards Sarlat & at the Leclerc supermarket straight ahead

FROM TOULOUSE (200km - 2h)
• Take the highway towards Bordeaux & Exit at Montauban
• Follow A20/N20 towards Cahors / Limoges
• Do not exit towards Gourdon/Sarlat, wait until you have crossed the Dordogne & take exit 55 Souillac

FROM LYON (450km – 4h30)
• Coming from the south of Lyon, after the toll follow St Etienne
• After direction Clermont-Ferrand to bypass Lyon
• Before Clermont Ferrand to bypass the city, take A71 direction Paris-
Bordeaux
• Then continue towards Bordeaux on A89
• After Tulle, leave A 89 arriving at Brive (At Brive do not follow direction Périgueux & Sarlat) & take the interchange to go up on A20 towards Toulouse
• Between Brive and Souillac toll at Gignac, then Grand Blazy railway viaduct on the right before taking exit 55 at Souillac.

FROM SOUILLAC (15km - 20 min)
The most comfortable route after many kms along the river, the GPS offers shorter but by narrow and winding road in the hills
• In Souillac after toll exit 55:
- 1st Rd Point on the Left Direction Souillac/City center
- 2nd Roundabout on the Left towards City Center
- Next intersection: on the right towards Gare Sncf
- Next roundabout on the left towards Sarlat
> Long descent, at the Leclerc Supermarket roundabout on the right towards Sarlat (long straight line out of Souillac limited to 50 km/h & for crossing the next 2 villages, numerous radar checks).
• Drive 10km, cross the villages of Cazoulès, Peyrillac (Do not turn at the Simeyrols/Orliaguet 6km sign, narrow road & dangerous backlights on late sunny afternoons)
• Wait for Rouffillac & turn right towards Carlux (Landmarks: St Julien bridge on the left & Le Rouffillac restaurant on the right)
• In the village of Carlux, at the crossroads, turn right towards Salignac
- Go through the post office. the bar on the left, leaving the village, watch out for 2 speed bumps & continue straight for 4 km (or almost, because the closer you get to the goal, the more it turns)
• From the Simeyrols sign in the middle of the fields 3 x on the right
- 1st crossroads on the right towards Salignac D47
- 2nd crossroads 50 m further, turn right towards Orliaguet / Souillac D 61 b/ route des Combes
- 3rd x 500 m + far at a place called Magril, wrong turn on the Left, limited to 50, take path starting outside the curve
- Park in front of the house next to the Christmas tree, Terminus, you have arrived at the Gîte in Magril, for our house and the Gîte/B&B des Brandettes, continue along the path for another 300m, when the tarmac stops you are in front of the gate of the main farmhouse

FROM BORDEAUX (200 km – 2h30)
• Take the A89 towards Clermont-Ferrand/Lyon
2 possibilities: For more motorway (150 km/1 hour) & fewer turns, continue after Périgueux sur Brive until the A20 interchange take direction Toulouse, Go through Gignac toll, exit at Souillac exit 55 & follow instructions from Souillac
• OR Exit before Thenon (70 km / 45 min), Turn right at the toll Go towards Lardin, pass through Coly, St Geniès & follow direction Salignac.
• In Salignac stay on the straight line which crosses the village & after the gendarmerie, turn right towards Carlux, Manoir d’Eyrignac
• At 4 km goose pastry, turn left D 61 towards Carlux at 10 km
• At the Simeyrols sign, take 1st left D 61b Direction Souillac/Orliaguet Go 500 m, exit the village & at a place called Magril, at the exit of the wrong bend, take the path starting outside this bend. Park next to Christmas tree, opposite the house, you have arrived at the large independent gîte, go down the path and 300 m further to the main farmhouse.

Paris/Toulouse line; From Paris Austerlitz, get off at Brive la Gaillarde (50 km/45 min from the house) OR Souillac (15 km/20 min)
OR Gourdon station from Toulouse
OR Sarlat station from Bordeaux
