Directions from the A83 to 5 Rue De La Vendee,

There are two options from the A83, with one going through the town or around on the bypass.
Option 1 is the easiest.
Option 2 takes you into the town and past the supermarket (which closes at 7pm)
Option 1
Take exit 8 from the A83 toward Fontenay-le-Comte/ Marans
At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto D938T signposted to Fontenay
At the 2nd roundabout take 2nd exit towards Niort onto D148. Take the second exit road (4 Km on) signposted Fontenay Centre, (Foussais Payre).
At the roundabout take the 1st exit, signposted Fontenay
At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit onto D745, signposted St Hilaire de loges
Travel 3.9km then turn left onto Route de la Fruche (D3) Signposted Faymoreau

Travel 3km on D3 then turn left on to Le Lion d'Or/D31 signposted Foussais Payre

Travel 2.6km, through the hamlet of Payre de la Vendee and the cottage is on the right just before you exit the hamlet.

You can park right outside on a parking bay to your left.

Option 2
Take exit 8 from the A83 toward Fontenay-le-Comte/Marans
At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto D938 heading to Niort/Fontenay-le-Comte
Go through 2 roundabouts (on the second roundabout look to your right the supermarket SUPER U is here. This is the nearest large supermarket. )
Continue onto Boulevard Hoche/D948 (the road bears right, stay in the right hand lane. Go straight on at the lights. (If you look to your left at these lights you will see the High Street of Fontenay).
Go round the roundabout. Take the third exit signposted St Michael Le Clouq.
Travel for 2km and you need to take a left, signposted St Michael le Clouq, D938T.
Travel 4.4km, through this village and at the crossroads go straight on.
Travel along that road (D49) for 5.2km, past the quarry, up the hill, past a farm with two big barns with solar panels on, then you get a crossroads sign which you need to take a right (which if you look to your left there is a white concrete post signposting the turn to Payre de la Vendee).
At the end of this road (1km) turn right and the cottage is the second on your left.
You can park right outside on a parking bay.

If you miss the last turn off and you end up in Foussais Payre turn right before the church and this road will bring you into Payre sur la Vendee with our cottage being the third as you come into the hamlet which is only 2km from Foussais.
