BiâO * Cotentin is labeled ECOGÎTE by Gîtes de France. It constitutes a whole of life, a school, where the reception of the holiday makers is in interaction with all our other activities. (* BiâO means 'beautiful' in Norman dialect)
We have fitted out "the BiâO gîte" and 4 guest rooms by working in the old-fashioned way with local materials: stone, clay, wood, linen, lime…. in order to preserve the authenticity of the place and bring you incomparable comfort.
The optimum layout of our eco-lodge allows several reception configurations:
a family with 4 children,
two families of 3 people,
two couples.
We have restored a barn to fit out this BiâO Gîte with eco-friendly materials (wood wool, linen plaster, earth) which will guarantee you incomparable comfort.
On your arrival, a blaze in the fireplace will welcome you in winter and optionally the rooms can be prepared.
Animals are accepted with pleasure. Outside the garden, your dog must nevertheless be kept on a leash because of children and horses.
Our Eco-lodging is equipped with WiFi - Disconnection on request.

During your stay, we ask for your adherence to our ecological approach.
A book of good practices is provided. These practices are important so as not to disrupt the eco-system set up at BiâO Cotentin since 2007.
They mainly concern waste, cleaning, energy consumption.
Chipwood central heating is included in the price.

The private walled garden is perfect for keeping your pet.

If the cancellation occurs less than a week before the date of arrival, compensation may be requested depending on the reason for cancellation and the period.
If the tenant does not appear within 24 hours of the arrival date indicated on the contract, this contract becomes void and the owner can dispose of his lodging. The deposit also remains with the owner who will request payment of the balance of the rental.
If the stay is shortened, the rental price remains with the owner. No refund will be made.

"Fantastica vacanza"
Posto stupendo per chi cerca la tranquillità. Elisabeth e David ospiti eccezionali, discreti e presenti. La casa è molto pratica da tenere in ordine ed ha una sua personalità, si vede che è curata con amore.
La coibentazione è perfetta, indipendentemente dalla temperatura esterna. in casa si sta sempre bene.
Come italiani abbiamo apprezzato molto il fatto che il WC fosse all'interno della stanza da bagno.
Anche per chi ha cani è un posto ideale, gli abitanti del Cotentin sono molto cordiali.
Il giorno della partenza siamo stati assaliti dalla nostalgia, avremmo voluto rimanere ancora.
Magari riusciremo a tornare, chissà...

"magnifique endroit et accueil tres chaleureux"
Elisabeth et David nous ont fait découvrir leur univers tout au long de notre séjour. on sent l'engagement et l'amour qu'ils mettent dans cette maison. C'est impressionnant d'ailleurs toute l'énergie qu'ils ont pour vous offrir le meilleur et vous aider à vous sentir bien. Le mot HÔTE prend tout son sens. ils font tout de leurs mains, le potager. le pain. la cuisine. les travaux, s'occupent de leurs chevaux. Et puis il y a cet amour de petit chat Prunelle. bref, du pur BONHEUR.

"très bon séjour en juillet"
Maison bien située ,dans un environnement très calme avec des propriétaires aux petits soins... des légumes bio à domicile... si bien que l'on se sent chez soi. Equipement neuf au top.

Séjour fort agréable ou l'on peut allier repos et visites Les propriétaires Elisabeth et David sont très attentionnés et à l'écoute de leurs hôtes.
