Baros Maldives

Baros Maldives is a small island close to Male’ city set in a turquoise lagoon with villas secluded in palm-shaded glades by a white sandy beach or perched over-water with private sun deck. Many of the elegant, sandstone and timber, palm-thatched villas have their own plunge pool and some have a spa bath too.

Every villa is private, has an espresso machine and a wine and mini-bar; in-villa entertainment includes a flat-screen TV and iPod dock. Guests can pamper themselves at the Spa or take a dip in the overwater infinity pool. Water sports and yoga are available; the resort also has a library lounge and free in-room WiFi.

A Villa Host is on call around the clock providing a discreet, personalised service making every stay hassle-free. The resort has both an EcoDive and a Marine Centre.

Three restaurants cater for fine dining, sea-food and Asian delicacies and private dining can be arranged in-villa, on an isolated sandbank or on a deck over the lagoon. The Sails Bar serves drinks all day under the palms and there is a sea-view evening cocktail and cigar lounge.
Room service is available for 24 hour.

Baros Maldives is a 25-minute speedboat ride from Male International Airport. Airport transfer is available at a charge.

Pets are not allowed in the establishment.
Children 8 years and older are accepted.
Children from 8 to 11 years old stay for 285 € per person per night when sleeping in an existing bed.
Extra beds or baby cots are only available upon request and need to be confirmed by the property.
Supplements are not automatically calculated in the total amount of the reservation on the site and must be paid separately directly with the establishment.

Cards accepted for booking
The property can only be reached by speedboat. Speedboat transfers are shared transfers, a 25-minute trip, which is arranged according to guest international flights.

The charges are as follows:
1. Shared Speedboat transfers until 31 October 2026:
- Adult (12 years and above): USD 116

2. Shared Speedboat transfers from 1 November 2026 to 10 January 2027:
- Adult (12 years and above): USD 232

3. Shared Speedboat transfers from 11 January 2027 onwards:
- Adult (12 years and above): USD 240

4. Private return speedboat transfers from 1 April 2026 onwards:
- Adult (12 years and above): USD 710

Complimentary return transfer from Male International Airport when you book on half board rates.

The following complimentary facilities will be provided for guests booking honeymoon packages during the first 6 months after the wedding (minimum of 4-night stays):
- A bottle of sparkling wine
- Premium chocolates
- Candlelit dinner by the beach (drinks excluded)
- One honeymoon photo in a Baros photo frame
- Bed decoration during turndown service

Please note that these couples must present a valid marriage certificate for 6 months upon check-in.
