Gite du Pas de la Mignonne - Piscine & SPA - Grand Calme

Our charming cottage, classified 4 * and 3 ears (4 ears in the process of being classified), independent, completely renovated in 2020, newly equipped, is located in Périgord Vert near Excideuil (all shops and services) and a few kilometers of black Perigord. The magnificent Hautefort castle is very close.

It is classified 4* with the Dordogne Tourism Committee. The classification grid is available on request.

It can accommodate 4 to 5 people and has 2 bedrooms: one with a Queen size bed and the other with a 140x190 bed and a 90x190 bed. We also provide you with a cot if you wish.
A bathroom with WC adjoins the bedrooms.
The rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with new bedding as well as top-of-the-range bed linen (on request).
On the ground floor are the living / dining room (TV, DVD player, Hi-Fi system, etc.) and the kitchen where you can simmer good meals based on local products after going to the local market. Excideuil, Thiviers or Périgueux.
A bathroom with toilet is also on the ground floor. In this room you will have a washing machine and a dryer.
You will benefit from a large private courtyard at the back of the house with a barbecue, tables, chairs, lounge, ..., a terrace at the front of the house with a view of the valley.

Whatever your interests, you will be satisfied.
The Dordogne is the country of 1001 castles.
You can visit exceptional towns such as Sarlat-la-Canéda, Bergerac, Périgueux, Brantome (the Venice of Périgord), small typical villages (Saint-Jean-de-Côle, etc.), archaeological sites, caves (Lascaux) , the truffle eco-museum in Sorges, historical sites (forge in Savignac, paper museum in Vaux de Payzac), … to name but a few examples.

Gastronomy also makes Périgord famous (foie gras, duck, truffles, nuts, strawberries, honey, etc.)
You can visit goose and wild boar farms and meet local producers but also taste the wines of the region (Bergerac, Monbazillac, Pécharmant, etc.)

You can recharge your batteries thanks to the many sporting and family activities available to you: hiking or cycling, Corgnac-sur-l'Isle rail bike nearby, climbing, tree climbing, canoeing, barge trips on the Dordogne, fishing, golf at the exit of Excideuil, magnificent balloon flight over the castles, Rouffiac leisure center (Beach, pedalo, ski lift, paddle, sailing, etc.)
Many landscaped gardens will delight you (Jardins de Marqueyssac, Jardin de l'Imaginaire, ...), theme park (Jacquou le Croquant), ...

Back at the cottage you can enjoy peaceful evenings away from the crowds and relax in the spa (optional) or do a few lengths in the salt pool (5 x 10 m).

DESCRIPTION OF THE COTTAGE
Covering an area of 80 m², you will find in the gite
• on the ground floor :
- a kitchen of approximately 25 m² fully equipped with oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and TV
- a bathroom with WC, washing machine and dryer
- a living room - dining room with an area of approximately 30 m² equipped with a pellet fire, a TV, DVD player, Hi-Fi system, …
- internet access

• upstairs :
- 2 air-conditioned bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and the other with a 140x190 bed and a 90x190 bed
- a bathroom with WC

• outside: you will have two garden furniture, barbecue, private parking, a private courtyard, a large meadow where children can play and private and regulated access to the swimming pool.

The SPA room, located in the courtyard of the gîte is accessible to you as an optional service.
We also offer optional towels and bed linen.
Exit cleaning is charged extra and is not optional.
