Plouguerneau is an excellent home base from which to explore the surrounding area. The town has about 45 km of coastline and many hiking trails (GR 34).
The lighthouse of the virgin island, the highest stone lighthouse in Europe (82.50 meters) will reveal an exceptional panorama.
Hiking, swimming, fishing, diving, cultural visits, charming chapels, tasting seafood, pancakes... there is no shortage of activities.
Very close and unmissable in Kerlouan, the site of Meneham is a completely rebuilt fishing hamlet (museum, inn, crafts).
In Milizac, the recreation of the 3 priests is an amusement park for young and old.
The city of Brest, its castle, its museums, its marina and of course Océanopolis.
Roscoff, the island of Batz and Saint-Pol de Léon are also worth visiting.
Pointe Saint-Matthieu, the port of Le Conquet and its pier for the islands of Molène and Ouessant are among the essential walks.

Gite Ouessant très confortable, décoré avec goût, bien équipé ,et très bonne literie. Très bon accueil de la part de Valérie avec ses conseils sur la région et les sites à visiter. Nous sommes très satisfait de notre séjour à Plouguerneau avec ses nombreux circuits de randonnée et autres.

"Très agréable"
Nous cherchions le calme, la mer à deux pas, de quoi faire des balades à vélo, un gîte confortable... nos vœux ont été exaucés. Cerise sur le gâteau, l accueil a été très agréable. Que demander de plus.

"Maison Ouessant"
La maison est très confortable et bien équipée (lave-vaisselle et lave-linge). Il y a un parking privatif et gratuit. La maison est très propre et bien entretenue. Endroit calme, aucun bruit. L'accueil par la propriétaire était top ! Elle nous a expliqué les visites à faire et nous a laissé des cartes qui nous ont bien aidé. En plus, la région est magnifique ! Je recommande vivement.

Excellent séjour dans ce gite du Pays des Abers. Maison confortable, très agréable et décorée avec beaucoup de gouts. Un grand merci aussi pour l’accueil si chaleureux. Nous recommandons à 500%.

"Séjour parfait"
Un accueil très sympathique, Valérie nous a donné beaucoup de conseils sur les choses à faire dans la région, la maison est spacieuse, très propre, et surtout bien équipée.
La plage se trouve à 5 min à pied et les commerces sont à 1 km de la maison.
Je recommande fortement cette location, calme, loin du bruit et bien situer.

Logement très confortable au calme et bien équipé. Très bonne situation avec accès rapide à la côte et aux commerces. Vélos électrique disponibles à l’office du tourisme.
