Au Gîte Musicien

Our fully renovated cottage is housed in a former silkworm farm which was once a silkworm breeding ground in the Cévennes.

Housing
If you are looking for a secluded place (no neighborhood) without being too far from civilization, this cottage may suit you. The accommodation is located at the crossroads of many hiking trails and close (Le Vigan about 5 minutes by car) to all shops and various cultural and tourist activities. If you are a musician, you can indulge yourself by indulging in music as you see fit and at any time
ANIMALS are accepted under certain conditions (see the welcome charter in the photos)

On the ground floor, the house consists of an equipped kitchen / living / dining room with a double sofa bed
Upstairs a bedroom with 1 double bed, a bathroom with shower and a toilet. An extra bed or baby cot can be added if necessary

An equipped kitchen and a large private terrace equipped with a garden table and chairs directly accessible from the living room (3 steps) where you can enjoy your meals in the sun.

- as close as possible to the river the other side of the road in front of the house (unsupervised swimming, fishing, etc.) and a short forest hike above the house
- many marked hiking trails
- Cévennes Museum
- various activities for young and old: leisure area 5 minutes by car, in Le Vigan: bike rental, municipal swimming pool, cinema, canyoning, canoeing, tree climbing, museum
- markets in Le Vigan (every Saturday morning of the year, farmers' market on Tuesday mornings from May to October, night markets on Wednesday evenings in July and August, small market of the vegetable and fruit producer, Wednesday morning from June to September on the village square)
- Cirque de Navacelles (major site in France) and Causse de Blandas at 30 minutes
- Gorges de l'Hérault 15 minutes away
- Grottes des Demoiselles at 30 min, Grotte de Trabuc, bamboo grove and little steam train from Anduze around 1 hour
- Mont-Aigoual (many hikes, small ski resort open a few months in winter depending on snow conditions) 45 minutes
- Montpellier and Millau at 1h, Nîmes at 1h15
- beaches around 1h15 minutes away
