Hiking trailsSmall rural gîte in an old house, for 2 people, in the small hamlet of Ayres in Meyrueis, at the foot of Mont Aigoual, upstream of the Gorges de la Jonte and 20 minutes from the Gorges du Tarn.
Including:
- a rustic-style fitted kitchen, containing everything you need for a good stay
- 1 bedroom with 140 cm bed, small balcony-terrace where an Actinidia {kiwi tree} will bring you a little freshness with a little touch of exoticism.
- a small garden where you can relax on the relaxers and a barbecue for grilling over a wood fire
Calm assured.
Regarding animals, only dogs are accepted.
Hiking trails just a stone's throw from the gîte will take you directly into nature, forests, meadows, rivers, and even to Mount Aigoual and its observatory if you have the courage.
The caves: L'aven Armand 10 mins away, Dargilan 10 mins away, Bramabiau 15 mins away.
Mont Aigoual 30 minutes away.

End of September mid-October is the ideal season for picking mushrooms in the surrounding forests, porcini mushrooms, chanterelles, etc.

"Super séjour en sud Lozère/Gard/Aveyron"
Super séjour et super rencontre avec Joël avec qui nous avons pu discuter de la vie du coin et des endroits à visiter. Durant cette petite semaine nous avons pu faire les gorges du tarn en paddle en passant par Saint chely du tarn magnifique, du canyoning dans la dourbie, 3 grotte magnifique aven armand, l'abime de bramabiau, et la grotte de dargilan. On a aussi fait une randonnée, le sentier de pauparelle dans le décor vertigineux des gorges de la jonte. Et enfin on a pus découvrir le mont aigoual avec son observatoire et son musée sur le changement climatique.

"Super belles vacances !"
We were warmly welcomed by Joël and his family, we found the cottage very clean, the region magnificent as well for the different sites, the fauna and flora that we appreciated. We frankly recommend this address because they deserve to be known and we will never thank them enough for their kindness.

"Super gîte, super vacances"
Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Joël, son papa Claude et sa famille. Le gîte est bien, très propre, au calme dans une région magnifique. La terrasse est très appréciable le soir à l'ombre. Joël et Claude avaient toujours un petit mot pour nous. Bernard a beaucoup apprécié le soir les promenades avec Joël et notre chien. Nous avons été très touchés par leur gentillesse. Je recommande ce gîte. Ils ont de la documentation sur les choses à faire. Joël et son papa vous indiquent des bons plans. Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine. Un couple du Val de Marne Bernard et Christine (avec béquilles) et notre petit chien DUOSSIMO. Merci Joël et à ta famille.
