Nestled in the Ardèche highlands, this old farmhouse discreetly overlooks the peaceful hamlet of Les Ruches…
Here times run slow, simple pleasures become wonderful: board games, reading, ping pong, walks in the forest, convivial meals, endless discussions, wood fires, etc.
The house is located a few kilometers from the village of Saint-André-en-Vivarais and Saint-Bonnet-le-Froid (many shops, butcher, bakery, cheese, scoop), on the edge of the departments of Ardèche and Haute-Loire (Auvergne).
The dwelling:
• ground floor: equipped kitchen, large living room with dining area, sitting area with TV and fireplace and a sofa bed for 2 and a toilet.
• 1st floor: 4 bedrooms, two with 1 double bed, one with 3 single beds, 1 bunk bed and 1 cot, 2 bathrooms and separate wc.
The house is in a very peaceful place.
You have a plot of about 5 hectares, from where you have a magnificent view of the hills, mountains, volcanoes of Auvergne and forests.
Nearby you will discover the beautiful villages of Tence, Saint-Agrève, Lalouvesc, Yssingeaux and Annonay.
Beautiful excursions to the splendid city of Puy-en-Velay and the source of the Loire near Mount Gerbier-de-Jonc.
A quarter of an hour drive you will find Devesset Lake where you can swim.
Beautiful walks or cycling in the surroundings.
The village of Saint-Bonnet-le-Froid is full of small restaurants and especially the very famous "Auberge des Cimes" held by Régis and Jacques Marcon with its 3 Michelin stars.
